Yes this is exciting! We finally have a promo of James Franco on General Hospital. I”m jealous that everyone on set has seen him in his part already and we’re all counting down! LOL but that’s okay! Here’s is a shorter version:
Here is the long version playe don the 9th:
I am excited, Franco is one of my favorites, I am looking forward to seeing his talent combined with the talent on GH, such as Steve Burton and Maurice Bernard and many others.

I’m a huge Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles fan, and a Terminator franchise fan that has been truly disappointed with the lack of love coming from the other end by the creators. It’s a shame. It all comes down to money i’m sure. So to make another statement regarding the show being cancelled way before it’s expiry date, vote vote and vote. Don’t let Pushing Dasies get that win!
The first trailer for the thousand-trillion-dollar epic sci-fi flick directed by James Cameron impressed with its advanced special effects but left folks a

And Durance ACTED!!!! …that moment when she looked Oliver in the eye at the end and said “I’m NEVER giving up on you” was about as real as it gets. Makes one wonder whether the reason her acting is usually so bad on this show may be that she just ain’t got it with Welling. Who knows? |
(I cut down some of the words of the above)
Very true words here. An excellent episode… I haven’t been that excited watching Smallville in awhile, and I also forgot what it felt like to have that feeling of pure excitement during Smallvile. I’m showing this episode to my friends and fam who laugh as they’ve watched and make good points when I say I’m a fan but that episode defined exactly why I’m a fan! Proving them wrong baby lol! The feeling of ’superhero’ ran through this episode the huge mystery of the ‘game’ to get oliver back on his feet. T
Justin Hartley and Erika Durance a wonderful performance! Durance Acted…and that is the big question…what is the reason for her usual performance? Is it that she wasn’t given such solid lines/story in the past or is it she just ‘ain’t got it with Welling?’ As I was digging her on Friday.

It was great to have some light shined on Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) it was great to watch him find his way back. Even more fantastic to see Chloe Ms. Watchtower, prove what all of us Chloe fans have already known, that she is looking out for them. She is such a fantastic character. She can be everything to everyone. (Sad some are calculating screen time…I mean the show is Smallville….not ‘Clark’ there’s other characters walking around affecting his life. The show is good because we’ve been exposed to other characters lives and emotions connecting to him.)
Chole’s a hero in her own right. I just wish there was more of her and with last week I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. Clark and Oliver at the end on the roof…i always thought superheros had the best view…I missed their friendship. it’s nice to see them…the characters are stronger together. (even the actors)
Great acting on Justin Hartley and Allison Mack, kudos to the writers who did the phenomenal twist of Chloe being behind it all. I was honestly surprised…in a great way where I smiled like a goofy kid.
I like the balance as well…a little Lois and Clark time…I’m not a fan but I’m sure it satisfies those viewers who want Clark and Lois and then a little extra characters, action and story for those wanting to come full circle with Smallville like we have in the past. (fans for eva’ lol)
I noticed a lot of people are upset with the ‘inaccuracy’.. the show’s called smallville…it’s their own version, t heir own invention…inspired by the story of Superman. if you want the real story you’re going to have to head to it’s roots it’s not going to be in Smallville. It’s the writers perceptions. That’s the whole point a remake.
All my fav scenes…oliver was in them, it was nice to see Clark on a little awkward down time.
Watching Clark and Lois try to flirt on Smallville is like watching two glaciers passing in a frozen valley.
This is a repost. I read this review and died laughing as I thought the exact same thing! So instead of writing the exact same ideas…perhaps I will but first I’ll let you read Tippi’s view on the last Smallville Episode!!
Watching Clark and Lois try to flirt on Smallville is like watching two glaciers passing in a frozen valley.
Dear God. What a slow episode this was. It was downright ponderous. It was like frozen molasses. I’ve seen people in a coma move faster. I bet the shooting script was only about five pages long and most of that was just direction like, “Clark and Lois stare at each other for five minutes,” or, “Clark takes ten minutes to cross a room.”
Anyway, Clark temporarily finds himself able to read people’s thoughts after some “seeds” that Jor-El “planted” in him are activated because of an error in judgment. The error in this case turns out to be, I think, that Clark mistakes a hostage victim for a bomber. Jor-El wants him to learn to forsake his human instincts and rely on his Kryptonian instincts instead. It takes Clark forever to figure out that he can read minds, and an equally long time to figure out that Toyman is behind the bomb incident. In the meantime, Clark uses his newfound ability to woo Lois with donuts and promises of a monster truck rally she’s been wanting to go to. Chloe finds out about it and lectures Clark even though he should already know how ooky that shit is. Clark ends up standing up Lois for their date, in the name of protecting her from Toyman’s machinations, but she thinks he was just ditching her so he could grab a headline story for himself. Does she write him off? Of course not. They end up flirting like two glaciers passing in a frozen valley, promising to try again someday.
As to why Toyman is back: He wants revenge against Oliver for framing him for Lex’s murder. He tries to get Oliver to confess in a fake bomb plot, but a suicidal Oliver doesn’t give in. Clark eventually figures out the plan even though his mind-reading ability inconveniently disappears on him. The Toyman is locked up. Bad-ass Tess has him committed solitary confinement so that he’ll have plenty of time to work on a new “toy” — John Corben’s kryptonite heart. That, and an earlier scene of Tess kicking ass in a bar to rescue a drunken Oliver, were the only bright spots in the episode.

I started this blog as the internet is large. And I’d be blessed to get a few visitors.
I love things…I love discovery. Knowing the internet is large, I wonder about all of the things people must miss, never see, skip over.
I’m kinda here to bring it to you. Now along with all of those things you skip over, there’s the loads you trip over and are never really sure what to think about it. So i’m here to bring you that to. My opinions on books, movies, tv, music…entertainment…media…the whole bit. With that said. I love and live for music. I run to it, I write to it, dream to it, create it…all of it. This one is called Re-back by Adrian Ivan (Monogatos Summerlounge Remix). It’s peaceful, easy, a wave rider…perfect for a cruise or in my case, great to rewrite a emotional scene between the lead couple in my screenplay. I blast this one, it carries me away. With all that said here’s my first dance/progressive hit of the day:
Hit of the day!
I am so excited to hear that James Franco is up to play a two month role on General Hospital!
This is fantastic. I’ve always been a fan of Franco, so hearing him only respond to questions of his new role on soap, with ‘it’s performance art,’ puts a smile on my face, as I do agree, and it makes me wonder what he has up his sleeve. It also gives me this odd excitement to see him acting on General Hospital. It makes me wonder where he’s at in his career, as many actors hit that area of their career where they’re looking to experiment. They love acting, it’s what they do, it’s their art, it’s not always about the cash. Sometimes it’s about the experience. As Franco received a BA from UCLA, a graduate of a Creative Writing program at the NYU and Columbia University. Being completely emerged in the arts as well, i’m sure his mind was opened to some fantastic things with all the great studying at school, which clearly has led him here.
He’s in a graduate creative writing program at NYU and Columbia University. Prior to that, while he was making “Spider-Man,” he was also getting his B.A. from UCLA.
I have watched and continue to enjoy General Hospital, I remember it’s past, and I can’t lie there has been some good performances on that show and some great story writing, even good camera shots. I’m not one to toss General Hospital in with the other soaps either, some just do not live up to par. I am not surprised Franco chose this soap opera.
I am stoked and waiting in anticipation to see him share screen time with emmy winner Steve Burton who is a fantastic actor. And a few others he may have screen time with, who are also gifted actors and actresses within the show. However, Burton is not as seen as others due to his full time schedule on GH, you don’t see him other things. Which I’m sure is a personal choice for his lifestyle. But he’s done really well on the show.
I think this will be great for soap fans, as well as Franco fans. It should be something wonderful. An art of acting we may never forget? Hmm I’m think that’s a huge possibility.

Alright, so I really didn’t watn to blog about Kayne West and Taylor Swift, but I was asked to post my opinion. I’ll try to be short and sweet.
I’m honestly wondering why it’s so talked about! I’ve heard his name repeated more times than I ever have heard it before. The senator had a nice outburst and that wasn’t even talked about as much as this and that was in front of the president. And the outburst came from someone with an important role as Senator.
Why so much spotlight for Kayne and why so much pat on the back, and ‘are you okay?’ for Taylor Swift?
I don’t understand why so many celebrities are talking about it like they’ve never had a dark moment that ruined someone elses experience? A nice act of ‘I’m high and mighty’ when they’re not the one storming on stage lashing out in pain as if they’re all so solid in their lives. They’ve all done something to take away from someone, heck a huge chunk of musicians and actors take away from everyone a little bit each day. In whole, taking away from the world.
Then there’s the fact that 300 000 people overloaded twitter in one hour on Kayne’s page. Now if only people took that twitter time and focused that much of their honest time and energy on real issues like, poverty, homelessness, starvation, child abuse, foster care…need I go on? Imagine if each of those people became an advocate on their twitter time, donating a dollar to something like UNICEF? 300 000 to the needy? Huh, look at that.
All of a sudden there is importance in something that isn’t important as more and more people talk about it. Replaying the video. I’m so sick of celebrities crying about how hard life is. They chose that life. And you can make it be the best that it can possibly be. There’s worse, trust me. Man up. Taylor, still had a moment she had a good performance and held her award, it sucks but she will have more moments and great moments on stage. Big deal she got to stand up there and take an award home. Kayne, well he’s had success for a while. He’s talented. Suffered a lot of loss, but he can join the rest of the world on that one. I know death does something to you, it makes you do things you can not believe you have done. I get that but, we’re all grieving. It’s time to man up. Stop hurting others. Find a way to cope.
There, now lets discuss things that revolve around the world rather than one or two souls on it.
Finally! IT has arrived! I hope you’re as pumped as I am for the coming move ‘Avatar!”
Ahhh! Here it is!
Being a frustrated film lover as the new stuff has completely been disappointing I was fascinated by Push. I remember the preview for it when it was coming to theatres and I immediately wanted to see what they had come up with this time, as I did not recognize the name of the director (Paul McGuigan) or screen writers (David Bourla) . So I finally rented the film. I truly enjoyed it. Much better than all of the superhero themed movies that have been shoved down our throats lately, with such huge marketing techniques although their movies are a waste of time. Also, the fact that there was not a comic book to follow here may have allowed me to like it without being disappointed as there are not other written stories that precede it.
The movie is clever, and the action scenes are actually artful. When we have scene most American films we have that alpha male like Logan (Wolverine) running around blowing up things, screaming and saving his woman. This was not that same irritating story. There were multiple characters that each had their time to shine. I liked the way they described the powers/abilities of the characters and that each character didn’t have a name like ’storm’ or ‘cyclops’ which hasn’t worked in movies because the characters seem to not be strong enough for you take them seriously on screen. (However I am a fan of both superheros.) It was great to know the characters Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), Nick Gant (Chris Evans), Kira Hollis (Camilla Belle) had some sort of grip on their powers and we didn’t have to watch them as kids ‘growing’ into their powers. Although Nick Gant had not used his powers often he had instilled instinct on it’s usage. It was great to see that without having some ring leader to tell him to ‘concentrate.’
Another good aspect is that it is unpredictable scene after scene, you’re not sure what is really going to happen. The film was clearing made under a tight budget and that is what also makes it great as they were still successful without all that extra nonsense to ‘make the movie’ like most seem to have. The action scenes are artful and I was so happy to not get a group shot of all the superheros or one of them walking in slow motion while ‘Division’ explodes in the background! Phew! What a relief. You’d think those ideas would be old now but they’re used over and over and over…gag.
Other great things we have the villain (Djimon Hounsou) he’s a fantastic actor and plays this role so well you love him as the refined villain not scary looking just powerful. Dakota Fanning is a fantastic actress and fit this role perfectly. My only complaint is her skirt needed another five inches or a couple of shots should have been taken at different angles as she had these skinny teen legs yet her thighs were all out in a way that was not appropriate for her age. To early to take that girl down that road. It didn’t fit the character right either. However, Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning…what a great mix. I enjoyed the written relationship between the two but the acting by the two of them combined was truly a treat. In addition to them we have Camille Bella who was also a fantastic joy to watch she was wonderful as the extra edge to the film with such an ability to ‘push’ thoughts into the minds of others. Other fantastic casts members were Neil Jackson (Victor Budarin), Nate Mooney (Pinky Stein), and the young woman that played the beautiful Asian who was also a watcher (her lines were not always great, not sure if it were the words or her over acting..hmmm still liked her though)
I look forward to the sequel. Loved how this movie broke away from the standards (not located in NY or LA phew). As I believe in improvement and hopefully a larger budget to inspire story and to continue with fantastic screenwriting. However, even without all the ‘big stuff’ that batman may have, the director did darn well without all the extras. Like I said sequel, I have questions of Nicks father which go unanswered and to be honest I hoped to see more scenes with Joel Gretsch (Nick’s father). Go check it out.
